Chaplain Program

The Evanston Police Department is served by an interfaith team of chaplains. All volunteer members of the Chaplain Team are experienced clergy who serve congregations in Evanston or live in Evanston while serving in clerical roles nearby.

Chaplain Team members are appointed by the Chief of Police and serve at the Chief’s discretion.

Clergy members currently serving as members of the Evanston Police Chaplain Team are:

• Rev. Taurus Scurlock
• Rabbi Tzvi Montrose

Deputy Chief Melissa Sacluti serves as the liaison for the Chaplain Team with the Evanston Police Department.
