Levy Senior Center
Our center offers a warm and welcoming environment for seniors to interact with one another, engage in health and wellness activities, access social services and participate in cultural arts classes, seminars and adventures. Our award-winning, 26,000 sq. ft. building is located in the southeast corner of James Park on Dodge Ave.
Seniors-Only DMV:
The Illinois Secretary of State's Office manages a Seniors-Only DMV, which is now located at the Levy Senior Center. This new location is part of the "Skip the Line" program and offers DMV services specifically for seniors 65 and older. No appointment is needed and the hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Services offered include:- Real ID
- Driving Tests
- Drivers License and State ID
- Vision Testing
- and more!

Amenities
Rothschild Courtyard Garden
Nestled inside the Levy Center is our stunning courtyard with bountiful perennial flowers, enabling garden, water feature, and patio seating all provide for a natural retreat. The Courtyard is available for rental.
The Levy Center Foundation
We could not do what we do without The Levy Senior Center Foundation! The foundation was created to provide funds to support the Levy Senior Center to enhance its programming, offset expenses and improve the facility.
The partnership between the Foundation and the City of Evanston enables the Levy Senior Center to sustain its first-rate programming and facility. The Foundations resources are used to:
- Enhancing Programs: The Foundation purchases equipment to enhance the quality of programs.
- Day Trip Support: LSCF subsidizes the Center's bus for day trips, making outings more accessible.
- Dennis Newton Scholarships: Scholarships are offered for trips, ensuring broader participation.
- Garden Maintenance: The Foundation maintains the Center's gardens, contribution to a beautiful environment.
- Cultural Programs: LSCF funds three exciting cultural programs.
- Levy Lecture Series: educational programs for those over 55.
- Jamming Jean Music Series: Concerts are held quarterly.
- Fran Randall Concerts: Concerts showcase the talents of young, award-winning musicians.
