Aging Well Film Night, May 6
The Aging Well Film Night will be held on Wednesday, May 6, at 6 p.m., at the Levy Senior Center, in Bobby’s Room. The featured film will be “I’m Only Blind”, the story of Tim Paul, a 66-year-old blind marathon runner who has never allowed his disability to define him. Paul has completed more than 20 marathons, participated in several triathlons, and even does downhill skiing. Despite the challenges he has faced, Tim continues to show determination and resilience.
The film is directed by filmmaker Kamelya Alexan. Both Tim Paul and Kamelya Alexan spent parts of their lives in Evanston and will return for this special Aging Well Film Night. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session.
