Peer Services' mission is to alleviate and prevent, to the greatest degree possible, the problems related to substance abuse in the community. Their goal is to improve the quality of life for everyone in Evanston by working to eliminate substance abuse in the community. The Adolescent Treatment program assists young people in developing and maintaining a drug-free lifestyle with a dependable support system. The Adult Treatment program is designed to address the impact that the use of alcohol and other drugs has on the physical, emotional, social, intellectual, spiritual and vocational growth and development of individuals. The Adult Treatment program’s goal is to assist their clients in developing and maintaining a drug-free lifestyle with a dependable support system. The Dimensions program provides a supportive, nurturing environment aimed at helping dually-diagnosed individuals face life’s challenges with the help of a caring staff. The Youth Early Intervention program is designed to arrest the progression in youth substance abuse from experimentation to addiction.
