How can I sign up for the Evanston matching transportation debit cards (Brinks Cards)?

Do you provide direct-care services?
Although we do not provide any direct-care services, you can contact Evanston’s Senior Services office knowledgeable staff who are well-versed in a wide range of options to meet your needs or those of your loved ones. If you have questions about long-term care options or concerns regarding current or former residents of an Evanston nursing home, the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program is here to help. You can reach them at (847) 448-8696 or via email at ombudsman@cityofevanston.org.
Do you provide wellness checks?
Seniors can sign up to receive a weekly phone call from a Police Department representative through the City of Evanston's R.U.O.K. program. This program is a proactive initiative aimed at ensuring the well-being of seniors living alone in Evanston. Applications are available at the Levy Center front desk.
Is there a bus that can pick me up at my home and take me to the Levy Center?
Yes, if you are a Levy Center member and if you live within the City of Evanston you can request for the Levy Center bus to transport you from your home to the Levy Center. To request this free transportation, dial 311 or 847-448-4311 the day before, or by 8:30 am on the morning of your intended trip to be added to the list. Shopping trips are also available on select days. See Levy Center Transportation for additional information.
Do you sell CTA passes?
We don't sell CTA passes. Please visit the CTA website for more information about purchasing passes. We do have information on reduced and free ride programs that are offered by the RTA. See Transportation for more information.
Is there a CTA bus that I can take to go to Levy Center?
- The CTA #97 bus stops right in front of the Levy Center. It runs between Westfield Old Orchard and Howard Street.
- The CTA #93 bus also stops right in front of the Levy Center. It runs from the Dodge/Emerson intersection to Howard Street.
I have a health condition that prevents me from using a fixed route service. Is there an alternative?
The ADA Paratransit Service is for riders whose disability or health condition may prevent them from using a fixed route service such as buses and “L” trains. This is a shared, curb to curb ride. Please call 312.681.3098 for more information.

I have an idea for a class I would like to teach. How can I submit a new class proposal?
We are always looking for new ideas to serve the community. We accept program and class proposals from instructors and presenters who wish to teach at the Center. Please fill out the New Program Proposal Online Application, to let us know about your proposal.
