The Levy Center seeks to promote an active, independent and connected lifestyle for older adults.
Our center offers a warm and welcoming environment for seniors to interact with one another, engage in health and wellness activities, access social services and participate in cultural arts classes, seminars and adventures. Our award-winning, 26,000 sq. ft. building is located in the southeast corner of James Park on Dodge Ave.

Rothschild Courtyard GardenNestled inside the Levy Center is our stunning courtyard with bountiful perennial flowers, enabling garden, water feature, and patio seating all provide for a natural retreat. The Courtyard is available for rental. |

Fitness RoomWe offer a full service fitness room and access to locker rooms and accessible showers. Monthly and yearly memberships are available. |
GymFloor to ceiling translucent fiberglass walls provide a showcase of light for our exercise classes, basketball or special events and rentals. |
LibraryOur library room is home to many activities and features artwork by acclaimed local artist, Evanston Walter Burt Adams. The Library is available for rental. |

Dance StudioOur dance studio is fully equipped with hardwood floors, a bar, and mirrors, making it the ideal space for dance and movement classes. |

The Levy Center Foundation
We could not do what we do without The Levy Senior Center Foundation! The foundation was created to provide funds to support the Levy Senior Center to enhance its programming, offset expenses and improve the facility.
The partnership between the Foundation and the City of Evanston enables the Levy Senior Center to sustain its first-rate programming and facility. The Foundations resources are used to:

Enhancing Programs: The Foundation purchases equipment to enhance the quality of programs.

Day Trip Support: LSCF subsidizes the Center's bus for day trips, making outings more accessible.

Dennis Newton Scholarships: Scholarships are offered for trips, ensuring broader participation.

Garden Maintenance: The Foundation maintains the Center's gardens, contributing to a beautiful environment.

Cultural Programs: LSCF funds three exciting cultural programs.

Fran Randall Concerts: Concerts showcase the talent of young, award winning musicians.
