The Housing Opportunity Development Corporation (HODC) First Time Home Buyer Education program is offered as a series of three workshops designed to empower future homeowners in the homebuying process. The sessions cover readiness to purchase a home, how to manage credit and create a budget, and what to expect during the closing process. Participants also will be provided information about fair housing.

Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate of completion valid for one year required for most down payment assistance programs. Participation is free but pre‐registration is mandatory.
