Home MenuGroup Beach and Swim Day Requests
Summer camp programs from Evanston, and surrounding communities, may request access to our public swimming beaches for field trips/outings. Beaches are open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. The water is open for swimming beginning at 10:30 a.m. on most days, weather depending. In order to request a date for a beach swim day outing, please complete this form and a staff member will get back to you via email within three (3) business days.
Beach Day requests must be made at least 7 days in advance. The City of Evanston Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to deny or adjust your beach day request based on availability and conditions of the swimming beaches.
Everyone in your group, including staff, must have a daily group pass. Participants that reside in 60201 or 60202 may access the beach for free ($0). Participants that do not live in the listed zip codes must have a daily pass which is $5 per person. Daily group passes can be picked up at Dempster St Beach Office or Clark St Beach. You must complete the above form prior to picking up your passes. Day passes are non-refundable. For more information, you may contact Katie at kgrundin@cityofevanston.org.
