I live in one of the units in my building. How much should I pay?

I have family members who reside in my building. Why do I have to register?
Only in the situation when the occupants are on the deed is the unit considered owner occupied. All other residents are considered tenants.
When I purchased my home five/ten/fifteen years ago, it was sold as a single family home. Why am I receiving this invoice?
Although the previous owner may have utilized the space as a single family home, a permitted deconversion was never completed. Please contact 3-1-1 or 847-448-4311 and ask for a customer service representative.

You have a Coach House therefore you have two dwelling units on your property.
Why is there a past due amount on my invoice? I never received any information pertaining to this fee last year.
It is possible that we did not have your correct contact information.
My building has two units but I don’t currently have a renter. Do I still have to register the building?
Yes. As stated above, we register the building regardless of whether or not all units are occupied.
