The presentation provided an overview of the community's immediate response to the housing emergencies created by COVID-19 in 2020, an overview of the new trends and impact of COVID-19 on the housing market, as well as a progress update on the existing programs, such as the IHO.

Affordable Housing White Paper (2017)
As a follow up to the affordable housing presentation provided to City Council on September 18, 2017, staff developed the Affordable Housing White Paper. The white paper provides an overview of the housing landscape in Evanston within the broader region, as well as examples of best practices for creating more affordable housing options at various income levels.
Plan to end Homelessness(2012)
"Heading Home: a 5-year working plan to end homelessness", was created and intended as a community roadmap to change how the approach of dealing with homelessness and at-risk of homelessness populations.
Plan for Affordable Housing (2009)
Submitted by the Evanston Affordable Housing Task Force, the 2009 plan for affordable housing aimed to address how to most effectively and efficiently meet Evanston residents’ need for housing that is affordable, as well how to best use federal and local funds to increase affordable housing opportunities, while facing challenges related to the national and local economic turmoil.
