The Collector’s Office is responsible for the collection, administration, and enforcement of local taxing ordinances for the City of Evanston. Daily activities performed in the office include coordinating the City's centralized billing procedures, collects monies pertaining to permits, fines, fees, licenses, taxes, and other miscellaneous revenues.

The City Collector's Office is located on the first floor of the Morton Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Ave., and is open to process in-person transactions Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Residents are encouraged to make payments online at cityofevanston.org/how-to/make-a-payment. A payment drop box is also located just west of the Morton Civic Center.
