PURPOSE:  To review recent reports conducted on a proposed performing arts center in Downtown Evanston.  The task force will make recommendation to the City Council on steps to identify a suitable performing arts center location as well as steps associated with construction and operation for such a center.

MEMBERS:  9 Evanston residents appointed by the Mayor.  In addition, Executive Director of Downtown Evanston or her designee, a member of the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and a representative from Northwestern University. (Apply Here)

QUALIFICATIONS: Members must be representatives of performing arts groups, residents from both downtown and other areas, business representative and construction professionals and city staff.
