PURPOSE: To act in a advisory capacity to the City Council with the purpose of addressing the vacancies created at the large retail spaces formerly occupied by the Evanston Dominick’s stores located at 1910 Dempster St. in Evanston Plaza and 2748 Green Bay Rd. The committee will include Mayor Tisdahl, Second Ward Alderman Peter Braithwaite, Seventh Ward Alderman, the property owners of the closed locations, and two residents from each neighborhood impacted by the closure of the stores.
