PURPOSE:  The City Code, section 1-5-9, provides that the Aldermanic compensation structure shall be reviewed by a non-aldermanic committee every 4 years.  Parallel requirements for Mayoral compensation exist in section 1-6-10 and the Clerk in section 1-7-5 of the Code.
