PURPOSE: To coordinate and supervise the implementation, upgrading or maintenance of the system, including the establishment of equipment specifications and coding system. (133-0-90).

# OF MEMBERS: Five (5) members appointed by the Mayor, with the consent of the City Council. The Mayor shall designate one voting member as the Chairman.

QUALIFICATIONS: Chief of Police, the Fire Chief, the Emergency Services and Disaster Agency Coordinator, the Police Communications Coordinator, and one resident of Evanston as a non-public safety agency representative appointed by the Mayor.

TERM: Two (2) year term for the nonpublic safety agency representative.

MEETING DATE: Bi-Monthly on the 4th Thursday at 5:30 P.M.

PLACE: Fire Department Administration, 909 Lake Street, First Floor Conference Room
