Evanston Children's Theatre

Children age 8 through eighth grade perform in two productions per year. Auditions are held the first week back at school, each August and January. All performances are held at the Levy Center, 300 Dodge Avenue. The ECT is funded in part by the Illinois Arts Council, A State Agency.

Auditions for the fall musical production will be held in late August. There is nothing to prepare. We are a no cut program. The audition is a workshop that simulates the rehearsal process with theatre games, movement exercises, singing and line reading. Every child who shows up and registers gets a part! There is a participation fee. Registration will open on August 12- use activity number 932607A4!!!

The Tuesday cast rehearses on Tuesdays from 4 to 6:15 pm and Saturdays from 9 to 11am

The Thursday cast rehearses on Thursdays from 4 to 6:15pm and Saturdays from 11:15 am to 1:15pm.

Performances for the fall musical will be November 22,23,24!
