Appreciation: Lake Michigan with Words & Images
Join an adult learning community to study water, a defining feature of our geography and of our social, economic, political, cultural, and spiritual lives. Evanston’s location on the southwest shore of Lake Michigan, one of the five Great Lakes in the Great Lakes Watershed, means that we are some of the major beneficiaries and caretakers of the largest system of freshwater on the surface of earth. Each workshop includes a short talk, discussion, hands-on activity and tea. No registration is necessary – just drop by. Workshop is free. This is part of the Thirst for Knowledge, Thirst for Justice: Watershed Learning on The Great Lakes workshop series.
