Evanston Public Library Health Fair
The Evanston Public Library in collaboration with Hircules Health Hub, Northwestern University, and Skokie Public Library, will hold a Health Fair at the Evanston Public Library on November 17 from 4-8 p.m. The Health Fair will include free flu shots, free blood pressure screenings, a light dinner, games, giveaways, and more.
The fair will also include a panel discussion: "Nutrition and Wellness in the Age of Obesity." The featured panelists are Dr. Lynn Chehab, ETHS staff pediatrician and co-chair of the Obesity Action Team at the Evanston Health Department, Suzen Moeller, a nutritional epidemiologist, and Mira Rodgers, Senior Director of Healthy Living at the McGaw YMCA.
Health Fair Schedule:
Free blood pressure screenings: 4-6PM
Free flu shots: 4-7PM
Light dinner: 6-7PM
Panel discussion: 7-8PM
