The Evanston Symphony Orchestra concludes its 72nd season – titled Music from Many Lands- at Pick-Staiger Concert Hall in Evanston conducted by Music Director Lawrence Eckerling. Titled “Brahms Piano Concerto 1”, the concert will feature internationally acclaimed pianist Thomas Pandolfi in the Brahms masterpiece, one of the most demanding concertos in the repertory.
The concert program will open with John Corigliano’s theatrical Promenade Overture, and the season will conclude with the 1945 suite from Igor Stravinsky’s resplendent 1910 ballet, The Firebird.
