Police Town Hall Meeting

Evanston, Illinois 60201 - Introduction: Thsi meeting will focus on Social Media, Crime Prevention and Community Policing.
Note: The location for the town hal has changed to Room G300 on the ground floor.
The is the third in a series of town hall-style meetings hosted by the Police Department. Each meeting focuses on a specific variety of topics and is facilitated by Dr. Gilo Kwesi Logan. This meeting will focus on Social Media, Crime Prevention and Community Policing.
Each meeting covers police polices, procedures, and protocols related to the topic of discussion. The first meeting focused on Cultural Awareness and Community Policing. The second focused on Gangs and Drugs and Unsolved Homicides.
The objective of these meetings is to engage in positive and productive conversation with the community while working to develop feasible solutions to community concerns. The format of the meetings will consist of a facilitated panel discussion, followed by a question and answer session.
To help staff properly prepare, attendees should submit questions prior to the meeting via this form. Questions should relate directly to the topics of Social Media, Crime Prevention and Community Policing.
