The Evanston History Center hosts its family-friendly, summer favorite event: the Annual Ice Cream Social, taking place on Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. (rain or shine). The event will be held at the Evanston History Center in the Charles Gates Dawes House, 225 Greenwood, Evanston. This event is entirely free and open to everyone.
Come for an afternoon of summer fun! Listen to music on the grounds of the Dawes House, watch Kevin Kelly’s hilarious and entertaining magic show, and much more! This is a summer favorite for kids and adults and it is entirely free! YoFresh Yogurt Cafe will be providing frozen treats.

The Ridgeville Band, 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Kevin Kelly’s Magic Show, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Dawes House open for self-guided tours: 1 p.m.-3 p.m. (Groups of four or more children must be accompanied by an adult to enter the house.)
