The Evanston Fire Department is hosting an open house for its Fire Explorer Program. This coed program is designed for students ages 14 to 20 years old to work with and learn from professionals of the Evanston Fire Department. The program covers information about emergency call protocols and firefighting policies and procedures, while giving participants hands-on experiences with real life fire and emergency medical equipment.
