Veteran Program and Luncheon
The Evanston Vet Center cordially invites you to join them for this year's 17th Annual African American History Month program and luncheon, "Honoring the Groundbreaking Legacy of the Golden Thirteen". During March of 1944, the Golden Thirteen became the first African American officers in the United States Navy, paving the way for decades of proud African American service in the United States armed forces. Those attending the program are welcome to stay for a luncheon of traditional African American foods. The event begins at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2018. RSVP if possible at 847-332-1019
