"A Crowded Life: Charles Gates Dawes" Opening
Celebrate President's Day by joining the Evanston History Center at the Charles Gates Dawes House to inaugurate the engaging new exhibit, 'A Crowded Life: Charles Gates Dawes.'
This event is at the Evanston History Center, 225 Greenwood St. The exhibit is free and open to the public; light refreshments will be served.
Explore the compelling life of this Evanston resident who once stood a heartbeat away from the presidency. Visit with curator Kris Hartzell and view rarely seen items from the Dawes collection along with videos and graphics exploring his involvement in the major events of the 20th century.
The Evanston League of Women Voters will be on hand to register new voters.
