Evanston Water Utility Tours
Update: Both the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. tours are now full. Any new requests will be placed on a waiting list.
Community members are invited to take a look inside the Evanston Water Treatment Facility, 555 Lincoln St., on Saturday, May 7.
The first tour will be given from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for adults and children 15 or older. A second "child-friendly" tour will follow from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for residents with children age 6-14 years old. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. These tours are limited to 30 people and are only open to Evanston residents.
To register, please call 847-448-8198 or email water@cityofevanston.org by Wednesday, May 4. All interested participants must provide their name, address, contact number and names of the individuals attending in their group.
