Join us in celebrating 41 years of Evanston history and architecture. The Evanston History Center (EHC) presents the Annual Mother's Day House Walk on Sunday, May 8, 2016, rain or shine. Houses will be open from 12-5pm. This year's House Walk is generously supported by American Vintage Home, Three Crowns Park, Window Works, and the sponsors and partners of EHC's 'Year of Dawes.'
This year's House Walk will feature 5 historically and architecturally significant houses in southeast Evanston, the neighborhood surrounding the former home of the Dawes family and current headquarters of the EHC. Of special note for this year's House Walk: the entire National Historic Landmark Charles Gates Dawes House, along with the coach house on the property, will be open for viewing by the public.
