ETHS Moving a Single-Family Home
On Monday, June 13, ETHS will be moving a single-family home from the school to 2142 Dewey Ave.
Payne St. west of Dewey Ave. and Dewey Ave. north of Payne St. will be closed to parking and traffic from 7:30am-1pm. There will be no parking along parts of the moving route, listed below. Expect minor delays accessing homes during the move.
The route departs ETHS at 9am and will be as follows:
East on Lake St.
North on Dodge Ave.
East on Simpson St.
North on Ashland Ave.
West on Payne St.
The Geometry In Construction course at ETHS provided 99 students the opportunity to learn math by building a single-family home. This is a collaboration between ETHS, the City of Evanston and Community Partners for Affordable Housing.
