Watershed Learning

ClarkStBeach_544pxOn Saturday, April 14, from 10 a.m. to noon, join an adult learning community for "Lakefront Learning" to study water, a defining feature of our geography and of our social, economic, political, cultural and spiritual lives.

Due to a scheduling conflict, the planned April 14 "Watershed Spirituality" topic will be rescheduled for October. The new April 14 program will feature an update on the Mayor's Climate Action and Resilience Plan (CARP) at 10 a.m. and the latest on the Harley Clarke Mansion by the Evanston Lakehouse and Gardens group at 11 a.m. Both presentations are brief and will alow plenty of time for questions. Attendees are invited to gather for a special Earth Month clean-up before the presentations at 9 a.m.

Each free Watershed Learning workshop includes a short talk, discussion, hands-on activity and tea. No registration is necessary – just drop by. Workshops take place at the Arrington Lakefront Lagoon Shelter, Sheridan Road at Church Street, on select Saturdays:

April 14 - CARP and Harley Clarke
May 12 - Biking tour of Evanston Green Infrastructure
