The City of Evanston will discuss the Street Light Master Plan project on Tuesday, November 28, 7 p.m., in the Parasol Room of the Morton Civic Center.
The goal of this project is to develop a plan that identifies ways to meet future street lighting needs of the community in a manner that reflects the community’s values as well as the context of the surrounding built and natural environments. Once completed and approved, this plan will help guide future street light infrastructure improvement and operation programs in the city.
There will be several public meetings to receive community input as the project progresses. At this first public meeting, the engineering firm, Christopher Burke Engineering, and City of Evanston staff will:
- Discuss the project goals and schedule
- Present the existing street light conditions analysis
- Receive community input
