Watershed Learning

ClarkStBeach_544pxOn Saturday, November 18, from 10 a.m. to noon, join an adult learning community for "Lakefront Learning" to study water, a defining feature of our geography and of our social, economic, political, cultural and spiritual lives.

During this session, Draining Chicago and Evanston: Sewer and stormwater history, current issues and new ideas, author and engineer Dick Lanyon will discuss his most recent book, Draining Chicago: The Early City and the North Area, as well as stormwater and green infrastructure practices in Evanston.
