Fire Department Seeks Community Input During Strategic Plan Review
 
The Evanston Fire Department will be reviewing and updating its “Strategic Plan 2015-
2020” and is soliciting input from the community as part of that process. Because it has
been almost three years since the plan was created, the original Strategic Plan has
been updated to include a 2017 progress report on the original goals.
The Plan is posted online at cityofevanston.org/fireplan. Printed versions are
available at Fire Headquarters, 909 Lake St., and at all fire stations.
 
An online survey will be available through November 15, 2017 at
cityofevanston.org/firesurvey2017. Community meetings to discuss the plan with Fire
Department leadership will provide the Department with indispensable feedback relative
to the plan’s established goals and objectives as well as a better understanding
of community expectations.

Saturday, November 4, 9 a.m., Gibbs-Morrison Cultural Center, 1823 Church St.
Wednesday, November 15, 7 p.m., Fleetwood-Jourdain Center, 1655 Foster St.
