Celebrate the holiday season at the annual tree lighting with Mayor Hagerty as he lights up the tree! Enjoy holiday-themed music by the Evanston Children's Choir, Evanston Owns It, and old-timey carolers. Plus, there will be hot chocolate and special sing-a-long surprise! (Think red noses!) 

After, visit with Santa at The Merion (1611 Chicago Ave.) and Mrs. Claus at Hilton Garden Inn (1818 Maple Ave.) to take photos and warm up with hot chocolate. Write letters to Santa and enjoy hot cocoa at Lumen Optical, 809 Church St. and other activities to be announced soon!

Note that due to the Fountain Square construction, the tree lighting will take place at Church Street Plaza (near the intersection of Church and Maple.) The plaza is east of the downtown Evanston Metra station, across from Terra & Vine (1700 Maple Ave.)
