Ride for AIDS Chicago is a 200-mile ride; the first 100 miles will be on Saturday between Evanston and Elkhorn, Wisconsin, with the return trip on Sunday.
For safety reasons, Lincoln Street will be closed between Asbury and Ridge Avenues from 7 a.m. on Saturday, July 8 and 2 p.m. on Monday, July 10. There will be a large number of bicyclists and pedestrians in the area.
The opening ceremony will take place in front of the Chandler-Newberger Center, 1028 Central Street. Leahy Park will be the site of the post-ride celebration. Leahy Park is located on Lincoln Street, just west of Ridge Avenue.
