Stand Against Racism is a movement of the YWCA that aims to raise awareness of the effects of racism. Schools, businesses, faith groups, civic and community groups, and neighbors are encouraged to turn the discussion on race into action by standing along major streets in Evanston in support of the movement.

On Ridge Avenue

• Ingleside to Central Street (in front of hospital)
• Civic Center
• From YWCA at Church Street, south to Dempster
• Greenleaf south to Madison
• Oakton south to Hull Terrace

On Church Street

• In front of library, at Orrington Street
• East and west of Dodge, on south side of street

On Green Bay Road

• From Lincoln to McCormick
