In the final concert of its 81st season, the North Shore Choral Society, under the direction of Dr. Julia Davids, will present Paul Winter’s Missa Gaia.
In a celebration of Earth Day, this repeat performance of an exciting contemporary masterpiece is being brought back by popular demand. It will feature John Wojciechowski, soprano sax, Thomas W. Jefferson, piano, and Felicia Patton, soprano, as well as enidsmithdance and the Evanston Children’s Choir, directed by Gary Geiger. As an added Earth Day tribute, environmental activities for choir members and interested community residents are being planned throughout April and May.
