Using Native Plants to Create a Sustainable Garden

The Evanston Garden Council is pleased to announce a special program on May 6, 1:30 pm, Using Native Plants to Create a Sustainable Garden. The speaker is Jack Pizzo, a nationally renown expert in sustainable gardens, ecosystem restoration, comprehensive landscape solutions. Pizzo & Associates, Ltd. can offer clients multiple solutions, whether they be for private homeowners, municipal public properties, or corporate landscapes. They are experts in such areas as: prairie and woodland restoration, invasive plant control, erosion control, wetlands and pond management, and sustainable landscaping. Plant products from the Pizzo Native Plant Nursery, an established and reputable grower of native plant plugs, can be ordered. Please join us for this free-of-charge program at the Evanston Ecology Center, 2024 McCormick Blvd, Evanston, with parking available at the Center's lot.
