Attend the May Festival for our Birds to learn how you can welcome birds in to the community. Interactive demonstrations and information will be presented on creating bird habitat, sustainable gardening with native plants, solutions to bird-window collisions, certifying all of Evanston as a community habitat for birds and pollinators, and more.  There will be child-friendly activities, native seed giveaways and a bird walk facilitated in Spanish and English.

The first 50 attendees are welcome to take home a wildlife-friendly tree or shrub. After the Festival, continue to Perkins Woods for a walk with its steward, Libby Hill at 4:15 p.m.
