The Evanston Symphony Orchestra concludes its 71st season – titled Symphonic Blockbusters- at Pick-Staiger Concert Hall in Evanston conducted by Music Director Lawrence Eckerling on Sunday June 11, at 2:30 p.m. The performance of Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No 2 “Resurrection” will feature a huge orchestra including organ, the North Shore Choral Society, soprano Carla Janzen and alto Stacey Eckert.
The North Shore Choral Society will also join the ESO in Mozart’s motet Ave, verum corpus to open this “Blockbuster” program.
