The City of Evanston’s Water Production Bureau will provide two tours of the Water Treatment Facility on a first-come, first-served basis. The 9 a.m. tour will be for residents 15 years and older, while the 11 a.m. tour is for residents with children age 6 or older. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. All adults are required to provide photo identification upon arrival.
Water facility tours are limited to the first 30 people that sign up for each group, and all must be Evanston residents. To register, please call 847-448-8198 or email water@cityofevanston.org by Wednesday, May 10. All participants must provide their name, address, phone number and the names of all the individuals who will be attending in their group. Walk-in registration will not be available.
Parking will be available at the Water Treatment Facility via the driveway located on the north side of Lincoln St., between the two buildings. Please arrive at the facility 20 minutes before the tour start time, as admittance to the facility will not be permitted once the tours have started.
