Two public art unveilings will be wrapped into one celebration. Chicago artists Andy Bellomo and Caesar Perez, in partnership with Chicago Public Art Group (CPAG), are presenting Above and Below, their newly completed sculpture. The work is a 9ft x 8ft x 8ft plexi, steel installation located at the Noyes Cultural Center parking lot. Marco Puente fabricated the sculpture. Additionally, Evanston-born artist, Jordan Nickel (POSE), will be unveiling a mural commissioned by Art Encounter. The piece is located at 828 Noyes Street under the Purple Line CTA tracks. The public is invited to attend the event, which takes place at 12:30 p.m. at 927 Noyes Street in Evanston, Illinois on Friday, October 25, 2024.
