Bring a picnic dinner from 6-7 p.m.
Shabbat services and singing from 7-8 p.m.
You are invited to join the Pride Shabbat on the Evanston Lakefront to celebrate and appreciate the gifts that queer Jews bring to our community. Pride Shabbat honors the struggle for LGBTQIA+ Civil Rights and full acceptance into Judaism. Come at 6 p.m. and bring your picnic dinner followed by our service at 7 p.m. Surrounded by nature and the beauty of Lake Michigan, this spiritually uplifting (and dog-friendly) service feels a bit like summer camp and a bit like Ravinia and entirely like JRC. Curious about JRC and this wonderful community? You are welcome! No need to register, just show up and bring your authentic self. If you have any questions, email info@jrctogether.org. Visit JRC Facebook Page for those preferring to join virtually.
