Join the Highland Garden Club of Evanston for their annual Backyard Botanicals sale on Saturday, June 1, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. (rain or shine), in Ackerman Park, 2430 Central Street, Evanston. A variety of perennials, includingnative plants that work in residential gardens for bees and butterflies, will be available from gardens of our members and friends. Experienced gardeners will be there to answer your questions. All proceeds support community projects such as a beautiful community garden at the northwest corner of Central and Stewart.
