The Main-Dempster Mile invites you to join their 2nd Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest. Three $100 prizes will be given out to winners. One winner will be chosen by a judge. Two will be voted on by festival guests.
There is no fee to enter the contest, and rules for the pumpkins are fairly broad.
- Register for details and reminders (although walk-up entrants will not be turned away this year)
- Pumpkins must arrive to the Fall Fest on October 8 no later than 2:15 p.m.
- Pumpkins must be carved, not painted. There are no rules about carving techniques.
- Two winners will be chosen -- one by judges, one by votes from the festival guests
- Winners will be announced at 5 p.m.
- Winning pumpkins cannot be removed until 5:45 p.m. so that guests can enjoy them!
In addition to the Pumpkin Carving Contest, MDM Fall Fest will include lots of family-friendly fun. There will be local food and beer vendors including Firehouse Grill, YoFresh Cafe, and s'mores station from With Love.
