Evanston's City Council has narrowed the city manager search to a single candidate, Urbana City Administrator Carol Mitten. As part of the final decision process, a City Manager Candidate Town Hall will be held in the Council Chambers of the Morton Civic Center on Thursday, July 28 at 7 p.m. to provide the public with an opportunity to meet Ms. Mitten. The town hall will be moderated by Mayor Biss and will include questions that are submitted in advance or shared live at the event.

Submit a question

Community members must submit questions online for the Town Hall in advance by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27. Questions may also be submitted live in-person or through Zoom.

Community members can attend the meeting in person, join via Zoom, or watch live on City Channel 16 and the City’s YouTube channel.
