Police Chief Feedback Session: St. Nicholas

Public safety is essential for any community, and making sure residents feel safe is a key priority for Evanston. But what it means to feel safe and to have a safe, healthy, and strong community means different things to different people.

That's why we want to hear directly from you. We are hosting several community events to listen to and learn from residents what you want as we search for Evanston's new Police Chief.

We also recognize that the Latino community has a unique and critical perspective and we want to create a space conducive to having a productive, comfortable conversation.

We'll be hosting a community meeting on Tuesday, May 24th at 6:30pm at St. Nicholas at 806 Ridge. We will have a facilitated discussion and breakout groups in Spanish and English. We will also be providing childcare.

We can't take lightly the task of picking Evanston's new Police Chief, and we would be grateful to have your input and expertise.

See you on the 24th!

Sincerely,

Daniel Biss
