A significant amount of garbage has recently accumulated near the hill at James Park. Evanston residents are invited to join together on Sat., Feb. 12 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. to clean up this park. This will help protect the natural habitats on the hill (that many animals call home) from embedded plastic and other trash.
Volunteers should meet at the field house next to the far west parking lot at the foot of the hill. Or, if folks are already out and cleaning up when you arrive, simply join in. Volunteers are encouraged to bring gloves, boots, and tough reusable bags.
