The Interfaith Action of Evanston’s Produce Mobile is scheduled to come to Evanston on the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The Produce Mobile on July 13, 2021 will be the final one to take place in the James Park parking lot, 300 Dodge Ave. (behind the Levy Center). The following Produce Mobile distribution on August 10, 2021 and all the Produce Mobile distributions after that will take place at the new Robert Crown Community Center at 1801 Main St. (near Dodge and Main) in Evanston.
Produce Mobile volunteers will distribute boxes of fresh fruit and vegetables to Cook County residents while supplies last. No ID will be requested or required, but all guests will be asked for their name, address, and the number of people in their household. Numbered tickets will be given on arrival. Face coverings are recommended, but not required.
On July 13, there will be a Drive-Up Line (preferred) and a Walk-Up Line (bring cart). Drivers may enter only from southbound Dodge Avenue and should turn right on Mulford at the traffic signal to enter the James Park area.
Distribution usually takes place outside, but bathrooms are available. Please call 847-475-1150 or 734-646-7170 for more information.
Interfaith Action of Evanston is grateful to its partners, the City of Evanston; and the Greater Chicago Food Depository, which provides all the food distributed.
