Oakton Street Corridor Open House

The City of Evanston is seeking community input on improvements to the Oakton Street Corridor, from Asbury Avenue to the North Shore Channel.

The Oakton Street Corridor Study aims to improve conditions along Oakton Street between a safe transportation network and community destinations, including parks, schools and businesses.

Community members can learn more about the Oakton Street Corridor Study and provide their feedback by completing an online survey, available at cityofevanston.org/oakton through May 31, or by attending an upcoming open house:

Thursday, April 22
3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Robert Crown Community Center, Gymnasium
1801 Main St.

The open house will provide community members with an opportunity to review design and improvement options, ask questions, and provide feedback to City staff and consultants. There will not be a formal presentation at the open house; residents can stop by any time between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Face coverings must be worn at all times, and social distancing will be implemented.

For more information, please visit cityofevanston.org/oakton or call/text 847-448-4311. For convenience, residents may simply dial 311 in Evanston.
