Join in on weekly Black History Month events with Fleetwood-Jourdain Theatre. Dr. Elisha Hall will present “Gassire’s Lute”, a portion of the longer Dausi Epic from the Soninke people in the Sahel in north-central Africa. This story is about the goddess Wagadu and how she is the "strength that lives in the heart of men". This program will be broadcasted on the FJT YouTube Channel and Facebook page.
