Sand Castle Building Contest
Every year, the City of Evanston hosts a Sand Castle Building Contest at Clark Street Beach. This year, Downtown Evanston is excited to invite professional sand castle builder Big Wave Dave to create an inspirational masterpiece! Starting at 4:00 p.m., you can watch Big Wave Dave build a sand castle and then start building your own!
This family-friendly contest is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. after which prizes will be awarded to the biggest sandcastle, best family effort and more! Please bring your own buckets, shovels, creativity and other sand castle building tools.
Event is free and admission to beach is free for Evanston residents. Please note that proof of residency is required.
